Pool and Spa Service in Malibu and the Conejo Valley

County Line Pools is a veteran-owned pool cleaning and maintenance company serving homeowners in Malibu, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Calabasas and Oak Park. It is an independent, owner-operated business, not a franchise. Every pool on the route is serviced personally by owner Brett Rosa, a U.S. Army veteran with more than eight years of experience in these neighborhoods. You get the same person at your pool every week, a photo confirmation after every visit, and a fast text response when you need something.

What's included in weekly pool service

Water testing and chemical balancing, brushing and skimming, filter and equipment monitoring, tile and waterline checks, and a photo record when the work is done. The scope is designed to prevent problems, not just react to them.

Services

Weekly Pool Cleaning and Maintenance

Full weekly service on residential pools of all sizes: chemistry, cleaning, filter and equipment monitoring, and a photo confirmation every visit.

Weekly Spa Maintenance

Spas and hot tubs serviced on the same weekly schedule as the pool, with chemistry balanced for the higher temperatures and smaller water volume.

Chemical-Only Service

For owners who handle their own cleaning, County Line Pools tests and balances the water each week and supplies the chemicals, so the chemistry stays right without you managing it.

Green Pool Cleanup and Recovery

For pools that have been neglected or turned green. Recovery usually takes two to four days of intensive chemical treatment and filtration depending on severity, after which the pool moves to standard weekly maintenance.

Pool Inspection

A detailed inspection of the pool's surfaces, chemistry, and equipment for home sales, new pool owners, and pre-purchase evaluations, with a clear written report on overall condition and anything that needs attention.

Periodic services

Pool Filter Cleaning

A preventative measure that keeps water clean, clear, and bacteria-free. Filter cleaning is conducted quarterly as part of keeping the system running efficiently.

Drain and Restart

Draining is done every 5 to 7 years, or when water chemistry can no longer be corrected. The pool is drained, deep-cleaned, and refilled so it restarts with balanced water and a clean surface.

Where we work

County Line Pools serves Malibu, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Calabasas and Oak Park on one weekly route, plus surrounding communities including Hidden Hills. Malibu pools get the same owner-serviced weekly schedule as the rest of the Conejo Valley, with the coastal conditions, salt air and wind debris accounted for in the chemistry and cleaning.

Frequently asked questions

Who will actually be servicing my pool?

Brett Rosa, the owner. County Line Pools does not use rotating technicians or subcontractors. The same person services your pool every week, which is why clients who switched from services that skipped visits or sent someone different each time stay on the route.

How often should a pool in the Conejo Valley be serviced?

Most residential pools need weekly service year-round to stay clean and chemically balanced. In wildfire season or after heavy Santa Ana winds, more frequent checks may be necessary. Skipping weeks is the most common cause of green pools and chemistry that spirals out of range.

How often should a pool filter be cleaned?

County Line Pools cleans filters quarterly as part of regular service. Filter and equipment condition are also checked at every weekly visit, so a filter that needs attention sooner gets flagged before it affects water quality.

Do you offer chemical-only service?

Yes. If you prefer to clean the pool yourself, County Line Pools will test and balance the water weekly and supply the chemicals.

How do I know the visit happened?

Every visit is documented with a photo of the serviced pool and the water chemistry readings, shared with you along with notes on equipment or anything found. This is standard for every client on the route.
